And, inside the canyon, we had plenty of time to look and take pictures. It's a short time, but feeling we were on some sort of race was the only drawback. In truth, there are numerous slot canyons in Page, AZ, area that are just as. Both canyons are located within the same canyon as the iconic Upper Antelope Canyon and Lower Antelope.

Upper and Lower just happen to be the most easily accessible, and as RedRox and LoveMyAcura point out, their popularity has exploded in recent years. In other words, ambulatory and fairly decent shape. You still needed to make a lot of steps to come back down to our van, but it was metal with handrails and rest spots at intervals. In our 70's, we opted for a tour that didn't require us to climb ladders, but promoted as a good alternative for Seniors. The Upper Antelope Slot Canyon Tour exceeded my expectations.
